Hi Scott, our SSL cert expired. The servers are still there, but it looks like the licensing library rejects a non secure connection. I'll get working on that ASAP, sorry about that!

After a reboot, my CastleOS is showing "Trial Expired". Looks like it's no longer able to connect to the license servers.

PM'd Chris, but no response, and his last logon to this site was 7/3.

So is Castle OS dead? I guess I'm moving on to either OpenHAB or HomeGenie. Their setup/config is waaaay more complex than COS, but they're open-source and not tied to a cloud service that might go away at any moment.

Anyone have other suggestions for replacements?

BTW the dimmer dials are back on the android app, but now when I long-press them it highlights the dim number... difficult to get it to give up the text and let me "grab" the dial.

Wasn't aware you moved then to a different location. Did the same thing at first, then I ran as admin and it worked.
What is the latest plan for the Win10 update issue on this hub?

Trying to install the latest Beta on the Google Drive from Sept 14, 2017... ok... but I get an error at 95% installed, "insufficient privileges to install system updates". Installing as admin.

Yes you can, but it is officially unsupported. You'll need to image and restore the current drive in order to maintain the Windows 10 license. Customers have upgraded their drive size, as well as memory capacity, successfully.

Microsoft said they were discontinuing support for my version of Windows 10, and encouraged me to install the latest version. But then they said there was insufficient disk space. My C: drive is on the Castle HUB SSD...22 GB are used, 6 GB are available. The update wants a minimum of 8 GB.

I'm trying compressing the drive to see if that clears enough space. If it doesn't...can I upgrade the SSD to a larger drive?

I'm wondering if you've come up with a driver to operate Scenes in the PowerView Gen2 hub yet? I'm currently a CQC user, and very happy with it, but haven't been able to get a driver for PowerView, so I may have to leave CQC behind if someone else comes up with a driver.

Hey Tommy, can you double check that the MultiSensor has "Motion Sensor" checked on the Edit Device screen? I think that is the reason that trigger wasn't working.

It's possible it didn't detect all four buttons. You can force it to do that manually. Go to Z-Wave Settings, then press Manage Z-Wave Network. Then under Get Node Information, select the Wallmote and press the button to send the request. Then on the wallmote, press and hold the button for three seconds. You can confirm it worked by seeing 4 channels show under the Wallmote in the Devices view. As you press each button on or off it should be reflected in real time on that screen.

I have a wintel pro fanless windows 10 box running a kinect in my livingroom. About every 3 or 4 days it stops responding. Windows 10 shows the the services alive and well, I have all power saving features turned off. A full reboot fixes it, a reload of the CastleOS settings fixes it. Physically disconnect and reconnect of the Kinect usb does not fix it. A stop and restart of the service in windows does not fix it. Same behavior with a different kinect. I'm at a loss????

So the latest update is from 9/14/17? or is it somewhere other than the drive folder?
