Have a trigger that when an Insteon device is activated/on it also turns on a hue light bulb.
Test: Activate/On this Insteon device via the GUI.
Result: The hue light bulb turns on, but the Insteon device's status in the GUI shows as off

Verified via Insteon App that the Insteon's status is ON.

Just re-ran the test to be sure. Result: CastleOS Log says both the Insteon Device and the Hue Device with status of 100. But Insteon device in the GUI shows that it is OFF

Just to confirm, is this the Devices UI or Portal UI? As of a few versions ago, they separated code wise, so I need to confirm where to look. Thanks!!

Portal UI under favorites the Insteon Device stays grayed out (never brightens up as white to indicate ON)
Device UI shows the Insteon Device as OFF.

Umm....what does it matter. Before I made the Insteon device an input to the trigger, CastleOS reported the device as being ON correctly both at the Portal and the Device UI. Anyway the device is micro on/off module. Its configuration in COS is showing as ToggleLinc, RelaySwitch.

That's interesting, if you remove the trigger, does it show correctly again?

Yes. Remove the trigger and device status shows correctly

Well that's a fascinating edge case. Thank you! Let me look into the code...

Little more...when I physically go to the Insteon device and turn it on, the trigger works and the Insteon status is correct.
It's only when I turned the insteon device on from the GUI, that the status is not updated

Any update on this? Recall that the Logs show both the Insteon device and the Hue light bulb getting status update of 100, but none of the GUIs show the Insteon device as being ON....but does show the Hue device as ON.

Hey Tommy, wanted to circle back on this because the new release is about to come out. I was never able to recreate this. Events with the INSTEON and Hue devices are working normally in our testing, so it might be the configuration there. After you install the new update, if this is still occurring please let me know and I'll log in remotely with you and run some diagnostics. Thanks!!
