Login failure

Chris,
Had something weird happen today. When I went to use CastleOS, it took me to the login screen, where my normal username/password were already entered (Chrome saved password). But when I tried to login, I got a username/password not recognized error.
So I tried to log in as Admin (which I had previously set to the same password as my primary user account), and got the same error.
Fortunately, I had a third user account with a different password, and that one was able to log in successfully and Edit User to reset the password on my primary.
Since the Admin password didn't work (and you must be logged in as Admin to change the Admin password), I was NOT able to reset its password through the UI. So I killed the Core Service, and copy/pasted the pasted the password in Configuration.xml from my primary account to the adminPassword field.
So everything is back to normal, but do you have any idea what could cause this? I was able to use it yesterday, but I don't know how long the login cookie is set to last, so this might have broken with the last update (2/8) and only become apparent when the cookie expired?
-Scott

-Scott I'm pretty confident it's not from the last update, or any recent update. I've seen this before a long time ago. Windows triggers something that on occasion causes the encryption key to change. So in effect, it saves your password but when you try to log in, it won't recognize it because the keys don't match. I'd recommend that you make a backup of your configuration.xml file with the known "good" passwords. I'll revisit the encryption library we are using to see if there is any documentation about this. Thanks again for the report!!
