Remote Phone Call

I use a program called Remote Phone Call. With this program you can able to connect your cell phone (Android) with your PC and are able to see your contacts and even see and respond to text messages. As stated on the companies web page the SDK uses C#. I am thinking this may be a way to get CastleOS to interact with phone calls and text messages. What do you guys think about this? Sure it would require some scripting but still, having CasteOS control your phone or notify you of a text message or incoming call would be useful.

Seems interesting, only thing I'm not sure of is if the Kinect's Microphone can be used simultaneously for answering calls (like for the voice passthrough to the app), or if you'd need an additional microphone just for that. Could be neat to integrate though!

The Kinect has a microphone array that is used in Windows the same as any other microphone, so it may very well be possible. I do not see the Kinect not being able to have audio passthrough. I could be wrong though. All I know, integrating this would be amazing. You could have CastleOS read back text messages, send text messages, or even answer calls.
If you had 3rd party audio recording software, with an integration you could even have CastleOS take a message like a secretary.
I did some searching online and it appears audio passthrough may in face be possible however I am unsure if the 1st generation is the same as the 2nd. The 2nd appears to be far more likely. 1st generation, that is a good question.
