Seet, maybe mine will get shipped. I just got two Kinect gen v1.0 and two of the new ones with adaptors, and a computer stick to use as a nod. Just waitng for the hub to come before I start putting in switches and all the other stuff I got pileing up on my desk here, hope it can handle the z wave and insane at same time, cause I got both usb adapotrs.

Damn,

I'm going away for a month, so will have to play with this when I get back. Hopefully by then the new API will be out as well.

This is great news... to the others that have commented that tracking numbers haven't yet been received, I can commiserate; however, back to the great news, clearly the shipping from Castle HQ to us consumers has begun. I can only hope that over the next week or two, everyone will either have some shiny new hardware or at least a tracking number to constantly refresh to see if it has moved a few inches closer yet...

Keep in mind, Chris probably had a semi truck unloading pallet after pallet of these suckers that all need to be broken down, re-packaged, labeled and shipped. It takes time...at least that's what I keep telling myself while checking my email, spam and door step a few times a day.

Got mine today.

A few issues so far...

Shipped with version 1.3.1967 (Merrimac)

Using the android app on my Samsung Galaxy S5.
claims the ethernet is not connected when it is
under climate, I'm always showing Celsius even when I select Farenheit
activation status shows as trial expired, no subscription
very frequent hangs (black screen on app) or logouts from app. remember me seems to have no effect - always have to fully log back in.
When I try to connect my Nest, I get the Nest login page and the pin code to activate. Response when I enter the pin is always the same: "Error! Something went wrong." (not very helpful).

Viewing the HDMI output
on initial startup, wanted me to say whether I wanted to advertise my device on the network. Needed a keyboard to answer that.

That's it for the first few hours....

Hey Mike!

I'll break these down...let's see what's going on here...

It is connected, and clearly working, else you wouldn't be connected. Could this be referring to the WiFi connection?

This is dependent on the thermostat settings, the thermostat must be set to celsius, (or, judging by the nest issue mentioned later, it may not be updating correctly).

"activation status shows as trial expired, no subscription"

You'll be getting an email tonight with how to activate your license on the CastleOS website. It should work out of the box for the moment, in the meantime, unless you already have connected more than 10 devices. If that's the case, let me know and I'll get you your license manually now...

The black screen can be due to connection issues. But the logouts tell me an error is being thrown. It could be from the Nest issue.

This should be fully working. The only thing I can think of is the nest isn't connecting because you already have 10 devices? Otherwise, I'd be happy to use the hub's remote troubleshooting feature to login with you and take a look.

This is a Windows 10 feature and not necessary to enable unless you are using some of the computer features like a media server. It's off by default for privacy reasons.

The Nest issue is definitely weird..like I said I'd be happy to do a remote troubleshooting session with you tonight.

The hub also auto updates itself, so we can fix anything needed and get everyone updated ASAP.

Well, we're waiting to all units have shipped this week. All the US orders have shipped, but the international units are shipping later this week. Turns out, UPS forgot to tell us about some customs paperwork needed approved on our account :-/

Edit: Also, just to be clear, not all orders are being fulfilled this round. All Kickstarter backers and many pre-orders are being fulfilled, but some will have to wait until the next shipment arrives unfortunately. Then we'll have some inventory as well, and formally end the pre-order period.

Do Nest Protect devices (smoke detectors) count against the 10 allowed? If so, I believe I hit the 10 count... patiently waiting for how to activate our licenses... ;-)
