I guess I am not quite good with understanding hex :/ 200 in C8 so i added 0 to C8, making is 0C8 but got an error. Anything i am doing wrong?
Thanks |

I didn't I actually came back to this to see if I was wrong 'cause i've got an error when trying to change to 200 (which is 0C8 in hex). Just let us write the decimal number and that's it :P
Weird ... |

hehehehe. Yeah, I got it now I really don't know why I added 0 to this, I get it fine now. By the way, when I manually wake up my sensor (I think I will need more batteries), when does CastleOS update? I am trying to put my Sensor in different light scenarios and get the LUM value so I can use it for triggering. How can I tell CastleOS to get values? I think that you told me that before but I can't find it.
Thank you.

Hex bytes have to be multiples of two, and two only. Why are you adding 0 to an already properly formed hex byte: C8 ? |

But if I wake it up manually, will it get the values? I know that in some other software, If I want to know a parameter value that was set (for example, InControl software), I need to wake up the sensor and then write the parameter number and press retrieve and I see it. |

Update: don't know why but I can't add turn on/activates event now. It gives me error when I am trying to save the event. Temp. and Lum. are working fine. weird. I tried to look in the logs but nothing seems to be wrong. edited by tal.winter@gmail.com on 3/2/2016 |

Seems like what happened to me As Chris said, it's relinking. Try to do it FROM the CastleOS UI. (Settings, Manage Z-wave network). |

hehehe. I actually understood that eventually I can't say what is the wake up interval although I set to an hour.. The LUM value is 9. and it's quite dark. I need to make a little investigation about LUX intensity |

When was the last update? I save all the updates in separate folders and latest was 1.3.2210.0. Is there a new one? I didn't know OSRAM has their own smart light management. COOL!

Now that we got the major update out this week, we're turning on attention to finishing up the protocol additions, namely Lutron and Lightify, as well as an update for Lightwave. Lutron is well known as being rock solid with their wireless tech, but modern Z-Wave Plus gear is pretty good too... |

I think that you are right. I can't find the Lumens settings. Under basic settings there is only Temp type (Celsius, Fahrenheit)
I see more and more traffic on the forum. More and more are start to feeling the CastleOS buzz!
Thanks |

Hey Chris. I don't see how Xiaomi Smart Hub or Xiaomi at all is redundant, but ok. I do use a Z-Wave Aeotec Z-Wave Gen 5 USB Stick and it's good. Well, so far, I only use Fibaro Motion sensor but nothing much right now. I do have other products by Broadlink but those are WIFI. Except that, well, just wanted to know how to use ZigBee device because of Xiaomi sensors that I have. I don't familiar with those protocols other than the Z-Wave one. I have a light switch which is used with an RF remote. How can I control it via CastleOS? can I use lighwaveRF for it?
Thanks |

Oh crap. I just created a screen record to show you what happend. You had to fix the problem and ruin anything!!! Tonight means my morning, cool. Something to do on the weekend. I am thinking of buying the FIbaro Roller Shutter 2: http://www.vesternet.com/z-wave-fibaro-fgr-222-roller-shutter-2
Do you support that?
Thanks |
