Can not get Insteon Hub PLM ID to load

I had to start over with a completely new install of castleos recently and now i can not get my hubs PLM ID to load. I'm using a 2242-222 hub. I have tried resetting it but have not had any luck.

Thanks
Stuart

I don't think so, I did a factory reset on the hub before trying to get castleos to connect to it. I only have the one automation program.

I have double checked the hub model on the tag on the bottom, and the IP address with my router network map.

I should probably add that this all started after i had to start from scratch after a windows 10 update completely messed up my whole computer, and i had to roll it back to a previous version of windows 10 just to get it working again.

CastleOS is only asking for bridge mode and hub IP address

CastleOS receives, does not send Insteon commands

I have tried on both my windows 10 htpc and a borrowed windows 7 laptop. Device status will update in castleos when i manually turn on or off a switchlink dimmer, but castleos cannot send a command to the PLM (light on PLM does not blink). At first I though it might be my old 2242-22 hub acting up so i bought a new USB PLM to try, I get the exact same behavior using either PLM on both computers.

It was the engine version causing the problem. Everything seems to work now except for my one keypad always goes back to showing off after a couple of seconds. I linked everything the same way, plm to device then device to plm.

Also I cannot get the kinect service to authenticate. I added a couple of user accounts to the core service and changed the admin password. None of them will authenticate except for the admin user account with the default 'password1234' password. I thought it might be a double install of the core service problem so I did a test of windows to get rid of everything, then made sure to install the core service only once and it appears to have done nothing for my problem.

Does that mean I have to link it when it is both the on and off, or link every button in order to see the status of the 2487S' own relay? The keypad buttons currently do not control anything because I did a factory reset on all of my insteon devices when i changed over to the usb plm from my old hub.

I think its version 1.3.3079.0 of the Kinect Configurator. I just downloaded it from the website yesterday.

That is how i linked it. I also just discovered that if I manually operate the ON or OFF for the keypad relay, CastleOS will show the correct state of the relay and stay like that. It is only when I use CastleOS to turn ON the 2487S it shows ON for a second then goes back to OFF in the web interface.

It does the same thing on i1 and i2. With i2CS castleos has no control over the keypadlinc, but the status will update in castleos if I manually operate the switch.

To me it it looks like it is completing the same process the happens when I activate any other device, but the raw event log shows no record of anything happening
